We didn't invent #AskYourLearner, but it's our goal to spread its message
A grassroots effort to get parents, guardians and families more involved with what students are learning — and learn from each other
Educators
Communicate with your learners and their families with the hashtag #AskYourLearner. Give families key questions to ask their learners to engage in conversation at home about what's happening in the classroom.
Families
Look for prompts from your learner's educator for thought-provoking conversation starters about what's going on in the classroom. Then, ask your learner — listen, ask questions and engage. You might learn something new!
Learners
Remind your family members to ask you what you've learned. Think critically about the question. Think about what you've been learning in the classroom and respond. Give details and you might teach grown-ups a thing or two.
